We’re behind on trip posts as we wind our way around the tiny country of Slovenia. So far, we spent five days in the capital city of Ljubljana and then rented a car for a road trip through what can only be described as fairyland. Lakes Bled and Bohinj were idyllic. In the last two days we’ve driven through Alps with jagged peaks, green slopes and crystal clear rivers. We now find ourselves literally sitting in a garden next to a vineyard in the tiny town of Slap enjoying a bottle of local wine. Hope you all are enjoying your Labor Day Weekend and had a great summer. Here’s a few pictures from the last week until we stop enough to catch up.

WOW!!!
I see why you thought this area is fairytale. Looks like a great drive!
There are totally fairies in the background.
